In order to expedite funds and assistance to those in the short term, One EC has partnered with the Howard County Community Relief Fund through the Community Foundation of Howard County. Donations to this fund are the most effective way to assist residents, property owners, businesses and others affected by the Ellicott City Flood. Your donations help us help others rebuild their lives after a disaster. One EC will still take direct donations for long term recovery assistance, but we urge you to donate through the Community Relief Fund at this time to help with all stages of the relief efforts.
Donations of water and cleaning supplies are being collected by the Howard County Food Bank (9385 Gerwig Lane J, Columbia, MD.) from 10am-4pm. Most in need of NON PERISHABLE FOOD DONATIONS. Donations of Clean Up Supplies to Main Street are being collected at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ellicott CIty a constantly updated current list of needs can be found here and on their Facebook page.
