On Wednesday, May 31st from 7:00-9:00 pm, the Ellicott City Watershed Master Plan kickoff and Hydrology & Hydraulic (H&H) study presentation meeting will take place in the Banneker Room of the George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Drive in Ellicott City.
Ellicott City community members throughout the Watershed, including residents, business owners, property owners and non-profits, are invited to come meet members of the master plan team and learn about the master plan process, as well as view a presentation of the H&H study results.
The analysis includes modeling of how water retention controls and channel enhancements will reduce flooding on Main Street in various storm conditions. The results of the H&H study will be used as a touchstone throughout the master plan process.
For questions and/or more information about the meeting and plan, visit www.howardcountymd.gov/ECMP or contact Kate Bolinger with the County’s Department of Planning & Zoning via email or 410-313-2350.
