ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Individual/household residents or residential property owners who were affected by the Ellicott City floods on July 30th, 2016 are advised that the deadline for application submission for recovery assistance through One EC has been extended from May 26, 2017 to July 31st, 2017.
The period of application acceptance has been extended due to the high demand and success of One EC Recovery Project efforts to date. Individual/household residents and/or residential property owners in the Ellicott City zip codes and/or the Tiber – Hudson watershed who have not yet applied for recovery assistance are urged to submit an application by the July 31st, 2017 deadline.
The One EC Recovery Project is a community based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides no-cost gap services to those affected by the July 30, 2016 flood, with special focus on the Main Street Ellicott City.
One EC is currently working with multiple families affected by the flood to recover and rebuild their homes and we want to make sure all residents have access to the resources needed to not only make homes habitable, but safer and more resistant to future disaster.
Eligibility requirements for assistance from the One EC Recovery Project:
